Revalidation/Renewal

A type rating is basically valid for 12 months

The required training depends on the following factors:

Revalidation

  • A typerating is valid for 12 months
  • You have to do a revalidation of the rating on simulator
  • To get the same expiry date you can do the revalidation 90 days before. E.g. If your rating expires on 31.12. you can do the revalidation earliest on 01.10. to get the expiry date 31.12. again
  • For a revalidation you need 1,5 hours simulator time as PF

Please get in touch with us to discuss your specific situation

Renewal

  • If the rating is expired, you will need a renewal
  • The longer the rating is expired, the more training is needed
  • Different factors must be considered: E.g., How long the rating is expired, the overall experience, etc.

This situation must, in every case considered individually. Please get in touch with us to discuss your specific situation
